Converting your 79-93 Ford Mustang Fox Body or Capri to a hydraulic clutch has never been simpler. The Modern Driveline LF Series Master Cylinder Kit with Remote Black Billet Reservoir is a great cost affective solution to get this done! No longer will you have to worry about clutch cable clearance performance long tube headers or performance clutches that cause the clutch cable to fail. This complete kit replaces the stock clutch cable and quadrant while using the stock clutch pedal and cable hole in the firewall for installation. The under-dash linkage system converts the pull to a push using our advanced CAD modeling to provide the best pedal effort curve for a controlled clutch feel & improved driving experience. The remote reservoir simply mounts on the firewall for a clean and simple installation. The.700 bore and 1.4 stroke generates enough fluid volume to support most aftermarket external or internal slave systems. Each kit comes complete with everything you need to install including our unique One-Man-Bleeder Kit and comprehensive instructions.       Important Note.

      • Early cars with single-pin clutch pedal cable arms must be retrofitted with dual-pin pedal arm (quadrant)
      • This kit relies on the factory components to be in good working order, any bending on the quadrant pins causing a misalignment of the factory plastic quadrant will need to be repaired to allow for proper operation of this kit. Also, if the square drive on the pedal shaft is worn, this will affect overall travel of the master that could affect slave cylinder travel.

      Q. Why won't my transmission go into gear? A. Check your 'Master Cylinder throw distance, it should be 1.4". You may have to adjust your clutch pedal height in the vehicle. Q. Why is my pedal bottoming out ? A. Adjust your clevis and your pedal, balance the amount of adjustment you need between the two untill your pedal does not bottom out anymore. Q. My pedal feels spongy and the slave cylinder does move right away. A. You have air trapped in the system, re-bleed the system again, follow the bleed instructions, or see the video on bleeding hydraulics on this page under the Video Tab Q. What type of fluid do I use in my clutch hydraulics? A. DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid only in this application. There is no need for high temp brake fluid. Q. Will this kit work a stock clutch pedal? A. Yes, it will fit an original factory pedal and an OE reproduction aftermarket pedal.
