This Superior 10.4" metric clutch assembly delivers the durability and consistent engagement that performance street driving and open track sessions demand - without the grabby, on-off behavior of ceramic discs.
The Kevlar/Kevlar dual-faced disc is the key differentiator here. Kevlar facings last 2-3 times longer than organic materials while maintaining smooth, progressive engagement. The material dissipates heat efficiently and recovers well from high-temperature abuse - overheat a Kevlar disc and it simply needs to cool down and re-bed rather than glazing or failing. The sprung hub design absorbs drivetrain shock, eliminating chatter and providing the streetable feel you need for daily driving between track days.
The heavy-duty diaphragm pressure plate delivers reliable clamping force across the full disc diameter without the knee-destroying pedal effort of old three-finger Long-style clutches. The 10.4" metric bolt pattern with dowel pins ensures precise pressure plate alignment to your flywheel, eliminating the binding and hot spots that plague misaligned components. 8mm pressure plate bolts provide secure mounting to metric flywheels.
Every Superior clutch is hand-assembled at MDL's facility in Caldwell, Idaho.
