MDL builds every Superior clutch disk in-house with double-riveted construction - not bonded like cheaper alternatives. This assembly method ensures precise balance across the disc, eliminates hot spots that cause premature failure, and maintains structural integrity under high heat and repeated engagement cycles. The heavy-duty diaphragm pressure plate increases clamp load over stock units to support the 500 ft-lb torque rating.
The 26-spline x 1-1/8" input hub with sprung center fits modern TREMEC TKX, TKO-600, and T5 transmissions, as well as period-correct '86-'95 Ford 5.0L applications with upgraded transmissions. The cable-profile throwout bearing is designed for Ford cable-actuated systems but also works with hydraulic release setups, giving you flexibility for transmission swaps and clutch system upgrades.
