    Description

    Stock clutches fade under hard use. When you're pushing serious power through a Ford small block or demanding consistent grip on the autocross course, you need friction material that won't glaze, chatter, or slip. The MDL Superior 11" Kevlar/Kevlar clutch kit delivers the thermal capacity and positive engagement that performance driving demands, without the harshness of full-ceramic setups.

    The full Kevlar/Kevlar disc construction handles repeated thermal cycles without degradation. Kevlar's superior heat dissipation keeps the friction surfaces working in their optimal temperature range, whether you're running laps or sitting in traffic. The sprung hub absorbs driveline shock to protect your transmission's input shaft while maintaining a direct, positive feel at engagement. Double-riveted assembly keeps the facings locked to the hub under the shock loads of aggressive launches.

    The 11" diaphragm pressure plate uses the Ford long pattern with 3-3/8" short pair bolt spacing, fitting 164-tooth flywheels on classic Ford V8 applications. Hydraulic profile fingers are machined for proper geometry with hydraulic throwout bearing systems, eliminating the binding and pedal-effort inconsistencies that plague mechanical linkage. At 500 lb-ft torque capacity, this clutch handles modified street engines and open track punishment without slipping.

    Compatible with Ford Toploader, T5, TR3550, TKO, and TKX transmissions equipped with 10-spline x 1-1/16" input shafts. Every Superior clutch is hand-assembled in MDL's facility using precision tolerances and thorough quality control. Made in the USA and backed by a 1-year free-from-defect warranty.
