    Description

    When your GM build demands maximum clutch longevity without sacrificing street manners, the Superior Kevlar/Kevlar clutch kit delivers. Dual Kevlar facings outlast organic materials by 2-3 times while maintaining the smooth, progressive engagement you need for daily driving and spirited weekend runs. Unlike ceramic or metallic facings that grab hard and chatter at low speeds, Kevlar provides controlled, predictable pedal feel that makes stop-and-go traffic tolerable and heel-toe downshifts precise.

    The 10.5in diaphragm pressure plate features a lower lever height design engineered specifically for hydraulic release systems. This geometry optimizes travel and minimizes the additional effort hydraulic throwout bearings require, eliminating the spongy or inconsistent feel that can plague clutches not designed for hydraulic actuation. The result is crisp engagement and confident shifting whether you are running an internal or external slave cylinder setup.

    Rated at 450 ft-lb of torque, this kit handles modified small blocks, LS swaps, and big block street builds with confidence. The sprung hub design absorbs driveline harmonics for chatter-free operation, while Kevlar's heat resistance prevents fade during aggressive driving. When temperatures climb, Kevlar actually increases its grip rather than losing capacity like organic compounds do.

    Every Superior clutch disc is hand-built at MDL's Idaho facility with exacting tolerances and double-checked quality control before shipping. The kit includes both Chevy and BOP pilot bushings, covering the majority of GM V8 applications without requiring additional parts. Fits GM bellhousings with the 11-5/8in equidistant bolt pattern. Throwout bearing not included. Made in the USA and backed by MDL's 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
