    Description

    When you need more holding power than a full-Kevlar disc can deliver but want to preserve some street manners, the Superior Kevlar/Ceramic clutch assembly is the answer. This hybrid design places Kevlar on the flywheel side for smooth engagement and extended life, while the ceramic facing on the pressure plate side delivers the aggressive bite and heat resistance demanded by drag launches and high-RPM road racing shifts. Great for 1986-1995 Ford applications running the 10.4" metric bolt pattern.

    Ceramic friction material works harder as temperatures climb--the iron content in MDL's ceramic compound actually increases friction under heat, making this clutch stronger during abuse rather than weaker. That's why ceramic is the go-to choice for higher horsepower builds, quick shifts in road racing, and hard-launching drag cars. When a larger diameter disc isn't an option, the higher coefficient of friction delivers more holding power from the same surface area and clamp load.

    Every Superior clutch assembly is hand-built in MDL's Caldwell facility using double-riveted construction and exacting quality standards. Each unit is checked and double-checked for accuracy before it ships, so you receive a ready-to-install premium product right out of the box. The 26-spline, 1-1/8" hub fits transmissions like the TREMEC TKO, TKX, or any 26-spline T5 variant. The included cable-profile throw-out bearing also works with hydraulic release systems, giving you flexibility in your drivetrain setup.

    Designed for the 10.4" metric pressure plate pattern with 3 alignment dowel pin holes--uses 8mm pressure plate bolts. Made in the USA and backed by MDL's 1-year free-from-defect warranty.
