The Superior 10.4" metric clutch kit delivers the engagement characteristics and durability demanded by performance street builds. This assembly features a strategic dual-facing design with Kevlar material on the flywheel side and organic facing on the pressure plate side. Kevlar's coefficient of friction increases with temperature - meaning torque capacity actually improves under hard use rather than fading like purely organic compounds. The organic facing on the opposite side maintains smooth, predictable engagement for street driving comfort.
The 10-spline x 1-1/16" input shaft hub features sprung construction to dampen driveline shock while maintaining precise power transfer. The diaphragm-style pressure plate delivers consistent clamping force across the entire disc surface, promoting even wear patterns and extended service life. This kit is configured for mechanical release systems with the included mechanical throw-out bearing.
