    Description

    MDL's Superior Series clutch sets deliver the precise balance of engagement characteristics that performance street builds demand. This 10.4" metric clutch features a hybrid friction material strategy - Kevlar facing on the pressure plate side provides aggressive bite and exceptional heat resistance, while steel-backed organic material on the flywheel side delivers smooth engagement and extended service life. The result is a clutch that hooks up decisively under power yet remains streetable for daily driving.

    The diaphragm-style pressure plate uses Ford's 10.4" metric bolt pattern with 8mm bolts and precision dowel pins for rock-solid alignment and zero chatter. With a 450 ft-lbs torque capacity, this clutch handles serious small-block Ford power while the sprung hub absorbs the driveline shock that would otherwise stress transmission synchronizers and gears. The 26-spline x 1-1/8" disc fits TKO, TKX, 3550, and T-5 transmissions equipped with the larger input shaft.

    Every Superior clutch disc is hand-assembled in MDL's Caldwell, Idaho facility where tolerances are verified twice before shipping. This attention to detail ensures proper balance, smooth engagement, and long service life right out of the box. The kit includes everything needed for installation - precision pilot bearing, cable-actuated throw-out bearing, and alignment tool. Backed by MDL's 1-year defect-free warranty and made in the USA.
