Description
When you're upgrading to a modern overdrive transmission but want to retain your stock Ford 10" Long pattern flywheel, this Superior clutch kit delivers the torque capacity and durability your build demands. The Kevlar/steel-back organic facing combination provides the best of both worlds: Kevlar on the pressure plate side resists heat buildup and increases torque capacity under load, while the organic flywheel-side facing ensures progressive, chatter-free engagement for daily drivability.
The 3-finger pressure plate uses the classic Ford 10" Long bolt pattern with three pairs of bolts spaced 3-1/8" apart, mounting directly to 157-tooth flywheels found on 289, 302, and other small-block Ford applications. The 26-spline 1-1/8" hub interfaces directly with TKO-500, TKO-600, and T-56 Magnum input shafts, making this kit ideal for modern overdrive conversions using mechanical clutch linkage.
