    Description

    The MDL Superior Big Block Change Over clutch kit solves the fitment challenge Ford big block builders face when upgrading or swapping components across different pressure plate bolt patterns. The 11.5" long pattern diaphragm pressure plate provides the correct bolt spacing for BBCO applications, allowing you to run the proper clutch setup with your specific flywheel and bellhousing combination. This kit is purpose-built for hydraulic release systems--no throwout bearing is included, giving you the flexibility to pair it with your choice of hydraulic slave cylinder.

    Kevlar friction material on both sides of the clutch disc delivers the heat resistance and engagement consistency that serious street and track applications demand. Unlike organic facings that can fade under repeated hard use, the dual-Kevlar construction maintains its grip and modulation characteristics even as temperatures climb. The sprung hub absorbs drivetrain shock during aggressive launches and gear changes, protecting both the clutch and transmission input shaft from damaging spikes.

    Every Superior clutch assembly is hand-built in MDL's Caldwell, Idaho facility with meticulous attention to detail. Each disc is double-riveted to ensure the facings stay precisely aligned and securely attached throughout the clutch's service life. Before shipping, every kit is inspected and verified to meet exacting tolerances--you receive a ready-to-install premium piece right out of the box. With a 600 lb-ft torque rating, this kit handles serious horsepower while remaining streetable for daily driving.
