Description
Ford big block swaps into small block chassis create a unique clutch fitment challenge. The Big Block Changeover (BBCO) 11.5" long bolt pattern solves this problem, providing the correct pressure plate mounting dimensions when installing FE, 351M, 400M, or 385-series engines into vehicles originally equipped with smaller powerplants. This MDL Superior clutch kit delivers the holding power those big blocks demand without requiring a hydraulic conversion.
The dual Kevlar friction surfaces provide a higher coefficient of friction than organic materials, delivering more aggressive engagement characteristics suited to performance street driving and open track sessions. Kevlar excels at heat dissipation and resists the glazing that plagues organic facings under hard use.
