The Kevlar/Organic dual-face disc combines the smooth engagement characteristics of organic material on one side with the durability and heat resistance of Kevlar facing on the other. The result is a clutch that engages smoothly without the grabbing and chatter common with aggressive friction materials, while delivering twice the service life of a standard organic disc.
The 8.5" clutch assembly is the correct specification for 1960-1966 Ford vehicles equipped with the 132-tooth deep dish flywheel. This includes the 144ci, 170ci, and 200ci inline six engines found in early Broncos, Mustangs, Falcons, Comets, Rancheros, and Fairlanes.
