    Description

    Ford's early 170-200ci inline-6 engines used an 8.5" clutch pattern that's become nearly impossible to source through conventional channels. If your starter attaches to the bellhousing with three bolts, you have this early pattern -- and this clutch kit is exactly what you need. MDL's Superior brand clutch set delivers a factory-quality replacement for 1960-1966 Ford vehicles equipped with the original 3-speed manual transmission.

    Every Superior clutch disk is hand-assembled in-house and double-riveted to ensure precise tolerances and flawless operation before it ships. The organic/organic facing material provides excellent street manners with progressive engagement -- ideal for daily drivers and weekend cruisers who want smooth, predictable clutch feel. The 3-finger pressure plate eliminates the hot spots and inconsistent clamping force issues common with rebuilt units from lesser sources.

    With 125 ft-lbs of torque capacity, this kit handles stock Ford inline-6 engines plus mild performance modifications without issue.
