Description

The 11.5" Long pattern with 3-9/16" hole spacing fits Ford FE-series (390, 427, 428) and 385-series (429, 460) big block engines using the larger bolt pattern, while the hybrid Kevlar/organic facing design balances aggressive engagement with street drivability.
The dual-facing construction places Kevlar on a steel backing for heat resistance and durability, with the organic material providing smooth, predictable engagement. The sprung hub design absorbs driveline shock to protect transmission components and eliminate harsh grab. Every disk is hand-built in MDL's facility rather than mass-produced, ensuring consistent quality and proper balance before it ever leaves the shop.
The diaphragm pressure plate design delivers consistent clamping force across the entire disk surface, eliminating hot spots that cause premature wear. With a 500 lb-ft torque rating, this clutch set handles street performance builds with moderate modifications and street tires.
