Kevlar friction material behaves differently than organic compounds under thermal stress. Where organic facings lose coefficient of friction as temperatures climb, Kevlar actually increases its grip when heated -- meaning your clutch holds harder precisely when you're pushing it hardest. The material also recovers from heat cycles without the glazing and permanent damage that sidelines organic discs. The diaphragm-style pressure plate provides even clamping force across the entire friction surface while reducing pedal effort compared to Long-style designs.
