    Description

    GM-to-Ford transmission swaps demand a clutch that bridges two worlds -- the GM bellhousing bolt pattern with a Ford input shaft spline count. This Superior clutch kit solves that exact fitment puzzle while delivering serious holding power for modified engines. The dual-friction disc uses Kevlar on the pressure plate side for high heat tolerance and aggressive grip, while steel-backed organic on the flywheel side provides the smooth, progressive engagement you need for daily drivability.

    The diaphragm pressure plate design is the key to balancing clamp load with pedal effort. Unlike archaic three-finger Long-style clutches that create brutal pedal pressure regardless of engine RPM, the diaphragm design generates strong clamping force with reasonable pedal effort -- no knee-replacement-inducing commutes. The 12-5/8" equalizer bolt pattern fits standard GM 11" bellhousing configurations.

    The Ford 10 x 1-1/16" spline hub is specifically sized for TREMEC TKO and TKX transmissions with 10-spline input shafts -- a common configuration when swapping a modern 5-speed into a classic build. The sprung hub design absorbs drivetrain shock loads for smoother engagement and extended disc life.
