Rated at 400 lb-ft, this 11-inch clutch system delivers the aggressive initial bite Kevlar is known for while the steel backing plate maintains disc integrity through repeated heat cycles. The engineering starts with proven materials science. Kevlar facings provide quick, confident engagement off the line, while the organic backing material keeps pedal feel streetable and predictable. The sprung hub design cushions drivetrain shock during engagement, reducing stress on synchronizers and U-joints while delivering the smooth, progressive feel daily drivers demand. Every Superior clutch disc is hand-assembled at MDL's Caldwell, Idaho facility. This isn't automated production line work--each disc receives individual attention for proper rivet seating, precise balance, and thorough quality inspection before it goes in the box.
