Running a Ford T5 or TKO behind your GM small block or big block? This Superior clutch assembly solves the pilot bearing puzzle that comes with GM-to-Ford transmission swaps. The included custom pilot bushing kit provides two different ID options - 1.094" x .670" ID and 1.094" x .590" ID - to accommodate the most common crankshaft pilot bore variations found in GM applications. No more hunting for oddball pilot bearings or machining custom solutions.
The dual-facing design pairs Kevlar material on the pressure plate side with steel-backed organic on the flywheel side. This combination delivers the best of both worlds: the Kevlar facing provides aggressive initial bite and superior heat resistance for spirited driving, while the steel-backed organic ensures smooth, progressive engagement and extended service life. The 400 lb-ft torque rating handles built small blocks and mild big blocks in performance street applications.
