Every Superior disc is hand-assembled in MDL's Caldwell, Idaho facility using precision-woven Kevlar facing material on both sides of the disc. This dual-Kevlar construction delivers substantially longer service life compared to organic alternatives - Kevlar facings typically last 2-3 times longer than organic under equivalent conditions. The sprung hub design incorporates multiple dampening springs to absorb drivetrain shock and eliminate the harsh engagement characteristics common with racing clutches. The diaphragm pressure plate uses proven mechanical release technology that works with your existing clutch fork and throwout bearing setup - no hydraulic conversion required.
