    Description

Unlike organic materials that fade under heat, Kevlar offers exceptional heat resistance and durability - meaning this clutch maintains consistent performance the harder you drive it. That engineering advantage is why this kit handles 450 lb-ft while delivering surprisingly smooth engagement characteristics that work equally well in stop-and-go traffic or on the open track.

    Every Superior disc is hand-assembled in MDL's Caldwell, Idaho facility using precision-woven Kevlar facing material on both sides of the disc. This dual-Kevlar construction delivers substantially longer service life compared to organic alternatives - Kevlar facings typically last 2-3 times longer than organic under equivalent conditions. The sprung hub design incorporates multiple dampening springs to absorb drivetrain shock and eliminate the harsh engagement characteristics common with racing clutches. The result: a clutch that performs like a race piece but drives like a refined street setup.

    The diaphragm pressure plate uses proven mechanical release technology that works with your existing clutch fork and throwout bearing setup - no hydraulic conversion required. The 12-5/8" bolt pattern fits standard GM small-block and big-block applications. This kit is engineered specifically for TREMEC TKO, TKX, and T56 conversions where the 26-spline input shaft demands a clutch that can match the transmission's capabilities.
