Description

Designed for long life under extreme duty conditions, the dual Kevlar facing offers uniquely high wear resistance while being gentler on flywheel and pressure plate surfaces than ceramic alternatives.
The Kevlar composite material was originally engineered for industrial clutch and brake applications where heat cycling and heavy loads are constant factors. Unlike organic compounds that lose torque capacity as temperature rises, Kevlar actually gains holding power under hard use. This makes it ideal for performance street driving and open track sessions where you need consistent engagement characteristics lap after lap. The 450 ft-lb torque rating handles serious power while the sprung hub design dampens driveline shock for smoother operation and reduced gear rattle.
The 10.5" diaphragm pressure plate features standard lever height for compatibility with mechanical linkage systems and stock-style bellhousing configurations. As the clutch wears, a diaphragm design actually increases clamping pressure over its service life, improving performance rather than degrading it. Pedal effort remains manageable compared to Long-style three-finger clutches that can make daily driving a workout.
Every Superior clutch is hand-assembled at Modern Driveline's Caldwell, Idaho facility. Each unit is double-checked for accuracy before shipping, ensuring you receive a ready-to-install premium piece right out of the box. Note: This kit does not include a throwout bearing.
