This kit solves the common problem of stock clutches failing under the increased torque of bolt-on modifications—rated at 450 ft-lbs, it handles headers, intake, and tune combinations with confidence while the organic facing material preserves the smooth engagement characteristics essential for daily driving.

    The engineering centers on MDL's hand-built Superior clutch disk construction. The Kevlar/steel back organic facing combines the smooth, progressive engagement of organic compounds with the heat resistance and longevity of Kevlar backing material. This dual-material design handles aggressive launches and spirited driving without the harsh grab or chatter common in full-race clutch setups. The sprung hub further enhances street drivability by absorbing drivetrain shock during engagement, reducing cabin noise and vibration while protecting transmission components.

    The 11-inch metric diaphragm pressure plate features the 10mm bolt pattern used on all 2005-up Mustangs, with clutch fingers specifically profiled for proper release geometry with hydraulic throwout systems.
