The Superior Series Kevlar/Steel Back Organic clutch kit solves this problem with a purpose-built combination engineered for Performance Street Plus applications — delivering the holding power for spirited driving without sacrificing daily drivability.

    The 10.5" diaphragm pressure plate provides increased clamp load over stock units while maintaining manageable pedal effort. The friction disc features Kevlar/steel back construction paired with organic facing material — a hybrid approach that combines Kevlar's exceptional thermal stability with organic's progressive engagement characteristics. This means confident holding power during hard launches without the grabby, on-off feel of full ceramic facings. The sprung hub design isolates driveline shock and dampens vibration for smooth operation in stop-and-go traffic.

    This kit covers a broad range of GM V8 applications using the standard 11-5/8" equidistant pressure plate bolt pattern. The 10 x 1-1/8" 10-spline disc matches transmissions with 10-spline input shafts, including many TREMEC conversions and period 4-speeds. MDL includes both Chevy and BOP (Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac) pilot bushings so you're covered regardless of which GM block you're running.
