This MDL Superior clutch kit solves the power-handling limitations of stock Ford clutches while maintaining street-friendly drivability. Engineered for Ford big block applications requiring a 26-spline x 1-1/8" input shaft with 12-5/8" equidistant bolt pattern, this clutch delivers 450 ft-lbs of torque capacity without the harsh engagement of ceramic or metallic facings.
The steel-backed organic disc construction provides the perfect balance of durability and smooth operation. The steel backing plate ensures dimensional stability under heat while the organic friction material delivers progressive engagement that won't chatter or grab unexpectedly.
