    Description

    When your Mopar build pushes beyond what stock clutch components can handle, the Superior Kevlar/Kevlar clutch set delivers the holding power and heat resistance that serious street performance demands. The HD diaphragm pressure plate design provides greater clamping force than vintage Long-style or Borg & Beck pressure plates, yet with significantly lighter pedal effort that makes daily driving manageable. As the clutch disc wears, diaphragm-style plates actually increase clamping power over the clutch's life -- the opposite behavior of coil-spring designs.

    The Kevlar/Kevlar friction material combination is engineered for long life and minimal wear under extreme duty conditions. Unlike organic compounds that lose torque capacity as temperatures climb, Kevlar's coefficient of friction actually increases under heat -- your clutch holds harder when you're pushing it hardest. This full Kevlar disc configuration excels in high-torque muscle car applications where heat buildup would quickly glaze or burn conventional friction materials.

    The 10-spline 1-1/16" sprung hub design provides critical driveline shock absorption during hard launches, protecting your transmission input shaft and differential from sudden torque spikes.
