Description
When your Mopar build outgrows a stock clutch but you still want civilized street manners, this Superior super-duty clutch set delivers the holding power for serious torque without sacrificing driveability. Rated at 450 ft-lbs, it handles the demands of performance street applications, towing, and occasional track duty while maintaining the smooth engagement characteristics that make daily driving enjoyable.
The multi-friction disk design places Kevlar facing against the pressure plate for aggressive bite and superior heat resistance, while the steel-backed organic facing against the flywheel provides smooth engagement and long service life. This hybrid approach gives you the best of both worlds: the grip you need when you're on it, and the modulation you want in traffic. The sprung hub design absorbs torsional vibrations that cause drivetrain damage and clutch chatter in high-torque applications.
The super-duty diaphragm pressure plate generates maximum clamping force while maintaining reasonable pedal effort for mechanical Z-bar linkage systems. The 11-5/8" EQ bolt pattern fits standard Mopar 10.5" flywheel applications, and the 26 x 1-1/8" spline hub matches Mopar transmissions including the A833 and modern TREMEC conversions using 26-spline input shafts.
Every Superior clutch disk is hand-assembled at MDL's facility in Caldwell, Idaho. Each assembly is checked and double-checked for accuracy before shipping, ensuring you receive a ready-to-install piece backed by a 1-year free-from-defect warranty. Note: Throwout bearing not included with this kit.
