Description
When your Mopar build demands maximum holding power, the MDL Superior 11-inch HD Ceramic/Kevlar clutch kit delivers the aggressive bite needed for high-horsepower engines and hard-launching applications. Rated at 600 ft-lb of torque capacity, this super aggressive clutch excels when you need serious holding power but can't increase disk diameter or pressure plate clamp load.
The ceramic/kevlar facing combination provides a higher coefficient of friction than organic materials, so it bites harder and holds more power given the same clamping force. MDL's proprietary ceramic compound contains iron particles that actually create more friction as the material heats up, making it ideal for repeated hard launches or road course abuse where heat management is critical. The sprung hub design absorbs driveline shock and helps reduce engagement chatter inherent to aggressive ceramic facings.
Every MDL Superior clutch disk is hand-assembled in-house with exacting tolerances and double-riveted construction for durability. Each assembly is inspected and verified for accuracy before shipping, so you receive a ready-to-install premium product backed by a 1-year free-from-defect warranty.
