    Description

    When your Mopar build demands maximum holding power in an 11" package, ceramic friction materials are often the answer for highly modified engines seeing serious track time. This Superior clutch solves the problem of disc slippage under extreme power by combining aggressive ceramic/bronze friction compound with Kevlar reinforcement for improved durability. The result is a clutch that bites harder than organic or pure Kevlar alternatives without requiring a heavier pressure plate or larger diameter disc.

    The ceramic/bronze/Kevlar friction compound delivers higher torque capacity and better thermal management near the limits compared to organic alternatives. The sintered copper and bronze base acts as an excellent heat conductor with self-lubricating properties, while ceramic particles provide aggressive friction bite. Iron content in the friction material actually increases the coefficient of friction as the disc heats up -- the opposite of fade. This characteristic makes the clutch ideal for drag launches and road course abuse where consistent bite matters more than street manners.

    The three attributes that determine clutch torque capacity are surface area, coefficient of friction, and clamping force. When you cannot fit a larger diameter disc and do not want an extremely heavy pedal from a high-clamp pressure plate, ceramic friction surfaces let you increase holding power by raising the coefficient of friction. This disc delivers up to 600 ft-lbs of torque capacity from the 11" form factor.

    The sprung hub design dampens shock loads to protect transmission internals, while the severe-duty diaphragm pressure plate provides consistent clamping force across the full 11" friction surface. Expect firm, positive engagement that requires more finesse than stock but delivers race-proven reliability. Compatible with 26-spline TREMEC TKX, TKO-600, and Magnum series transmissions.
