Description
When your OE concentric slave cylinder (CSC) runs out of travel before fully disengaging the clutch, this 0.400" hydraulic spacer kit solves the problem. OEM spring-loaded hydraulic release bearings require at least 0.500" of cylinder compression to function properly and avoid running out of travel. Most OEM units have approximately 1" of total travel before bottoming out - and if your CSC isn't positioned correctly, you'll use up that travel before the clutch fully releases.
This precision spacer repositions your OE CSC to restore proper operating height and travel range. The 0.400" thickness is ideal for applications where the stock mounting position leaves the hydraulic bearing too close to the pressure plate diaphragm spring, causing premature travel exhaustion. By spacing the CSC outward, you reclaim the full stroke needed for complete clutch disengagement.
Installation is straightforward with the bolt-on design and included mounting hardware. Simply remove your existing CSC, install the spacer between the CSC and transmission mounting surface, and reinstall using the provided fasteners. This kit is compatible with OE concentric slave cylinder systems and works with both stock and aftermarket clutch assemblies.
