Description
OEM spring-loaded hydraulic release bearings require the cylinder to be compressed at least 0.500" to avoid running out of travel during clutch actuation. When aftermarket clutches, flywheels, or other drivetrain components alter the original stack height, your concentric slave cylinder can end up positioned incorrectly--leading to incomplete clutch release, premature bearing failure, or a pedal that drops to the floor.
This MDL hydraulic spacer kit provides precisely 0.625" of spacing to restore proper CSC positioning in OE applications. Most OEM spring-loaded bearings have approximately 1" of total travel before bottoming out, so maintaining correct preload is critical for reliable operation. The spacer ensures your concentric slave cylinder operates within its optimal travel range, giving you consistent clutch engagement feel and protecting the bearing from over-extension.
Installation is straightforward with all necessary mounting hardware included in the kit.
