Tremec T-5 5-speed single overdrive manual shift transmisison is perfect for Fox body Mustangs as they are light weight, compact and were OEM equipment in later 1983-93 5.0LHO Mustangs. Capable of handling over 330ft/lbs of Torgue, with a single overdrive reducing rpms, increasing fuel mileage but more importantly increasing smiles per mile. The offset shifter slides into the OEM shifter hole with the correct back to retain the stock shifter position. This T-5 package was designed for those converting from an automatic or just wanting to start all new parts behind a Ford small block engine.
