Tremec T-5 5-speed single overdrive manual shift transmisison packge is light weight and compact. Capable of handling over 330ft/lbs of Torgue, a T-5 is a cost effective choice with a single overdrive reducing rpms, increasing fuel mileage but more importantly increasing smiles per mile. Modern Driveline has developed several shift location options to install a five speed into your 1961-65 Falcon/Comet/Ranchero with a small block Ford. T-5 are only available in a 2.95:1 first gear ratio with an optional .73:1 od. Our front shift T-5 has been designed to move the shifter forward to clear the floor support. Shifter is located center to the transmission tunnel. No extension housing is necessary. Being the small of the Tremec five speeds, the T-5 will fit into the factory tunnel without tunnel modications.
