Tremec TKX 5-speed single overdrive manual shift transmisison packge is a great addition for 1964-66 Pontiac/Oldsmobile/Buick A-bodies equipped with the LS/LQ engines. Capable of handling over 600ft/lbs of Torgue, with several gear ratios available, a TKX is a great choice with a single overdrive reducing rpms, increasing fuel mileage but more importantly increasing smiles per mile. Tremec designed the TKX to bolt up to OEM four speed bellhousings. With a compact end loading main case, and side mounted shifter no tunnel mods are needed. Even the shifter postion is retained, for that stock look and feel.
