The T5 bolt pattern is intentionally clocked 5 degrees counter-clockwise, which positions the front-shift T5 tailshaft housing mount flat once installed. The adapter works with Ford small block engines using the 6-bolt bellhousing pattern found on mid-year 1965 and later 289, 302, and 351 applications, as well as 1967 and later 200ci inline-6 bellhousings.
