Tremec TKX 5-speed single overdrive manual shift transmisison packge is a great addition for 1964.5-66 Mustang when making over 400hp. Capable of handling over 600ft/lbs of Torgue, with several gear ratios available, a TKX is a great choose with a single overdrive reducing rpms, increasing fuel mileage but more importantly increasing smiles per mile. With mulitple shift postions, TKX can be installed into just about anything rear wheel drive.

In order to properly install a TKX into a 1964.5-66 Mustang the floor support will need to moved back 2.75" If this type of modication is not desired, for those making under 450hp, can install Super Duty T-5 we offer.
