Tremec T-5 5-speed single overdrive manual shift transmisison packge is light weight and compact. Capable of handling over 330ft/lbs of Torgue, a T-5 is a cost effective choice with a single overdrive reducing rpms, increasing fuel mileage but more importantly increasing smiles per mile. Modern Driveline has developed several shift location options to install a five speed into your Shelby small block Cobra. T-5 are only available in a 2.95:1 first gear ratio with an optional .73:1 od. T-5 can be installed into just about anything rear wheel drive with the many bellhousings and adapter plates.
