Description

The standard TKX shifter location doesn't work for every build. Tight tunnels, seat placement, and driver ergonomics often demand a more forward shift position. The MDL Qwik Stik Front shifter solves that problem with a precision-machined billet aluminum housing that relocates the shift stub to the front position - exactly where your hand expects to find it.

The tall body configuration delivers a shorter overall throw than the short body shifter while maintaining the quick, precise action the Qwik Stik line is known for. The straight-up stub orientation puts your shift lever exactly vertical with no angular offset, giving you natural wrist position through every gate. Belleville washers create just the right amount of detent pressure for positive gate engagement without the binding and wear that come with mechanical stops.

Unlike factory-style shifters with plastic stops that break under aggressive use, the Qwik Stik's no-stops design means nothing to snap off and nothing to adjust. When service is required, the Belleville spring system allows quick disassembly without special tools. The high-temperature dust boot keeps road grime and moisture out of the shift mechanism while the anodized finish handles underhood heat cycles without corrosion.

This shifter mounts directly to your TKX transmission using precision 3/8-inch hardware. The 7/8-inch on-center shift lever mounting pattern accepts most aftermarket shift levers - simply attach your lever, boot, and knob.
