Description
Swapping a TREMEC 3550 or TKO into a classic build means solving one critical puzzle: getting the shifter exactly where you need it. The Qwik Stik eliminates the guesswork with a precision-machined solution that relocates your shift lever 1" or 1.5" backward from the rear transmission position, putting the stick right where your hand expects it to be.
This close-ratio, short-throw shifter transforms the shifting experience on your 3550 or TKO. The Belleville spring washer system creates excellent detent feel without relying on mechanical stops that can break or bind over time. The result is crisp, confident engagement through every gate, especially in that critical 2-3 shift where lesser shifters feel vague. When service is eventually needed, the no-stops design allows easy access without fighting worn or broken components.
Machined from billet aluminum and finished with a durable anodize coating, the Qwik Stik mounts directly to your transmission top cover. The compact turret design slips through tight floor openings while maintaining the rigidity required for precision shifting. The shifter stub features standard 7/8-inch on-center mounting holes, making it compatible with most aftermarket shift levers. Attach your preferred lever, boot, and shift knob, and you are ready to row gears.
