Description
The factory TKO shifter works, but it has a problem: the oversized top turret often won't clear tight transmission tunnel openings in classic muscle cars and hot rods. The Qwik Stik solves this with a compact billet aluminum design that fits through factory tunnel openings while delivering the short-throw, close-ratio shifts your performance build demands.
Engineering makes the difference here. The Qwik Stik uses Belleville washers to create excellent detent force--meaning your 2-3 upshifts snap into gear with authority instead of hunting for the gate. The no-stops design isn't just a cost-cutting measure; it eliminates a common failure point while making maintenance dead simple. Need to service the shifter? Pull it without fighting stubborn mechanical stops.
Precision-machined from billet 6061 aluminum and anodized for corrosion resistance, this shifter mounts directly to your TKO500 or TKO600 transmission case in the rear position. The 7/8" on-center stub mounting pattern fits most aftermarket shift levers, so you're not locked into a proprietary setup. The included high-temperature dust boot seals out contamination while withstanding the heat that builds up in a hard-driven car.
This configuration features a 2" left with straight up or .5" forward offset, rear positioning and rear socket. Compatible with TREMEC TKO500/600 transmissions in rear shift position. Made in the USA.
