Description
The TKX's compact end-loaded design fits tight transmission tunnels, but that factory shifter location doesn't always land where your console or floor opening needs it. The Qwik Stik solves this problem with a close-ratio, short-throw shifter that relocates your shift lever to the rear position while adding a 2" left, 1.3" or 1.8" forward offset. The result: factory-style shifter placement with the mechanical precision your TKX deserves.
Machined from billet aluminum, the Qwik Stik bolts directly to your TKX transmission face—no guesswork, no fabrication, no clearance headaches. Belleville washers create positive detent engagement that delivers crisp, mechanical feedback during shifts. This is especially critical through the 2-3 transition where gear spacing demands precision. The anodized finish protects against corrosion, while the high-temperature dust boot shields internal components from road contamination and fluid weep.
This shifter does not include internal stops, so the Belleville spring design allows complete access for maintenance when needed. The standard 7/8" on-center mounting pattern accepts virtually any aftermarket shift lever, boot, and knob combination. For optimal performance in tight console applications, MDL highly recommends pairing this shifter with an MDL side-shift front transmission.
