Description
The TREMEC TKX is built for high-RPM performance with 600 lb-ft of torque capacity and 7,500 RPM shift capability. But the factory shifter's turret can create clearance problems in classic muscle car tunnels. The Qwik Stik solves this with a compact, close-ratio short-throw design that positions your gear lever in the factory location while delivering drastically reduced throw distances for faster, more precise shifts.
Precision-machined billet aluminum plates mount directly to your TKX transmission case, eliminating guesswork in shifter placement. The Belleville washer detent system provides the crisp, mechanical feel that defines a proper performance shifter, with particular attention paid to the critical 2-3 shift gate. Unlike shifters with rigid internal stops that can break under aggressive use, the Qwik Stik's Belleville spring system flexes to absorb shock while maintaining precise gear engagement—and it makes servicing the shifter straightforward when needed.
