    Description

    The OEM T56 Magnum shifter works fine in factory applications, but when you're dropping one of these 700 lb-ft capable transmissions into a classic Mustang, shifter placement becomes a real problem. The Qwik Stik eliminates the guesswork and fabrication headaches by mounting directly to your transmission case with precision-machined plates that position your shift lever exactly where it needs to be for '65-'73 Mustang installations.

    This front-position shifter provides a 2" left offset combined with your choice of .65" or 1.15" rearward positioning. The narrow shift body clears factory floor openings without cutting, so your tunnel stays intact. Belleville washers replace traditional detent mechanisms, delivering the consistent engagement pressure that translates to lightning-fast 2-3 shifts with positive gate feel every time.

    The engineering goes beyond just positioning. Billet aluminum construction keeps weight down while the anodized finish resists wear and corrosion in the harsh environment under your tunnel.     Q. Why do I need a different shifter? A. The MDL Qwik Stik has a smaller top turret to clear the tunnel shifter opening. It is a short-throw shifter with lightning quick response, it is anodized for long life and has no stops to break or replace, as well as many other features over the stock shifter.
