Description
Swapping a TREMEC Magnum 6-speed into a classic muscle car creates an immediate problem: the stock shifter opening is too small for the factory Magnum shift mechanism, and the shifter ends up in the wrong location. The Qwik Stik Shifter solves both issues with a precision-engineered assembly that relocates your shift point to the factory position while delivering the short, crisp throws serious drivers demand.
Built from billet aluminum for weight savings and rigidity, the Qwik Stik features a smaller top turret specifically sized to clear tight tunnel openings in classic GM and Ford applications. The close ratio design dramatically reduces shift throw compared to stock, and Belleville washers provide positive detent feel that eliminates mushy 2-3 shifts. Unlike conventional shifters with rigid stops that can break under aggressive use, the no-stop design uses spring tension for smooth operation and allows easy access for maintenance when needed.
This shifter is engineered for ideal fitment in 1963-1967 Chevy II/Nova, 1968-1974 Nova, 1964-1967 Chevelle, and 1960-1964 Ford Galaxie applications.
