The Qwik Stik solves the universal TKO swap headache: getting your shifter exactly where the factory intended without cutting your tunnel or fighting console misalignment. This close-ratio, short-throw shifter assembly is engineered specifically for TREMEC TKO 500/600 transmissions, delivering factory-correct shifter placement in classic muscle cars where every inch of console clearance matters.
Designed for 1960-64 Ford Galaxy, 1968-72 Pontiac GTO/LeMans, 1968-72 Oldsmobile Cutlass, 1962-67 Chevy II/Nova, and 1968-74 Nova applications, this shifter features a 2" left offset with your choice of straight-up or 0.5" Backward stub positioning. The rear shifter position and front socket configuration bring your shift lever exactly where it belongs without custom fabrication or tunnel modifications.
Unlike factory shifters that rely on external stops which can break under aggressive shifting, the Qwik Stik uses Belleville washers for detent control and features no stops at all. TREMEC TKO transmissions have internal stops and cannot be over-shifted, so external stops are unnecessary and only create maintenance headaches. This design delivers lightning-quick shifts with excellent feel while eliminating broken stop replacements entirely. When servicing is needed, the Belleville spring design allows easy access.
