Description
The factory TR6060 shifter in fifth-gen Camaros presents two problems for serious drivers: a bulky turret that barely clears the transmission tunnel, and a shift feel that goes vague and sloppy as components wear. The MDL Qwik Stik addresses both issues with purpose-built engineering that actually improves the driving experience.
The smaller top turret is the critical design element here - it clears factory floor openings without requiring tunnel modifications, making installation straightforward. CNC-machined from billet aluminum, the Qwik Stik delivers the structural rigidity needed for crisp, positive shifts. The anodized finish handles heat cycling and fluid exposure without degrading over time.
Unlike conventional shifters that rely on plastic or metal stops that eventually break or wear out, the Qwik Stik uses Belleville springs for shift detent feel. This means no replacement parts down the road and a smoother, more consistent shift action that maintains its precision through years of use. The 1" left, straight up or .5" rearward offset positions the shift lever exactly where it needs to be for natural hand placement in Camaro applications.
