This Shelby Cobra 289 FIA style shift lever solves that problem by combining period-correct styling with a bolt pattern engineered for today's TREMEC T5, TKO, TKX, and Magnum T56 transmissions.

The simulated reverse lockout preserves the iconic FIA-style appearance without the functionality--a necessary adaptation since modern TREMEC boxes don't require the original mechanical lockout.
Installation is straightforward for stock T5 shifters: the 8mm mounting holes are positioned on 7/8" centers for direct bolt-on fitment. When pairing with aftermarket shifters, the mounting holes may need to be enlarged to accept 3/8" bolts. The lever's thread pitch accepts your choice of period-correct or modern shift knobs.
