Description
Transmission swaps and shifter upgrades often leave you with a mismatch between your shift ball and your new lever's thread pitch. This 6-speed shift ball solves that problem with a 16mm x 1.5 internal thread that accepts MDL's complete line of thread reducing inserts. Whether you're adapting to Hurst's 3/8"-16 threads, Ford OE's 1/2"-20 threads, or metric pitches like 10mm-1.50 found on '83-'04 Mustang levers, one shift ball works across multiple builds.
The 2-1/8" diameter provides a substantial palm grip that gives you positive control during high-RPM shifts without feeling oversized. A clearly engraved 6-speed pattern keeps gear selection instinctive when you're focused on the track or the road ahead. Unlike push-button equipped balls that require an extra step to access reverse, this design offers unrestricted operation for drivers who prefer direct engagement.
The black finish offers a clean, understated look that works equally well in restored muscle cars and modern performance builds. Thread reducing inserts are sold separately, allowing you to select the exact thread pitch your shifter requires.
