Description
Thread pitch mismatches are one of the most frustrating surprises when upgrading your drivetrain. You finally get your new TREMEC or aftermarket shifter installed, only to find your favorite shift knob won't thread onto the new lever. This thread reducing insert solves that problem by converting 16mm internally-threaded shift knobs to fit 10mm x 1.25 metric shift levers.
The adapter works in both directions: retain that worn-in shift knob you love when upgrading to a new shifter, or install a new 16mm-threaded knob on your existing 10mm x 1.25 lever. Simply thread the reducer onto your shift lever, then thread your knob onto the adapter. The included jam nut locks everything in place, preventing loosening during aggressive shifts.
