Description
Factory plastic clutch lines are the weak link in any hydraulic clutch system. Under high heat and sustained pressure, they expand, degrade, and introduce that spongy pedal feel that robs you of precise clutch engagement. This 13-inch stainless steel braided hydraulic line delivers the firmness and durability your TREMEC swap or performance build demands.
The core of this line is a smooth-bore Teflon (PTFE) inner liner wrapped in stainless steel braid for zero expansion under pressure. The Teflon liner resists brake fluid, hydraulic fluid, and the chemical degradation that kills rubber lines over time. The uncoated stainless braid provides superior heat dissipation compared to coated alternatives -- critical for routing near headers, turbo manifolds, or other underhood heat sources. This construction also delivers greater flexibility during installation while maintaining structural integrity.
Both ends feature straight -4AN female fittings with permanently swaged stainless steel crimp sleeves that won't back off or leak. The straight configuration works for most master cylinder-to-slave or reservoir-to-master routing, and the -4AN size is the standard for hydraulic clutch systems. Every line is pressure tested before it leaves the shop.
