Description
Hydraulic clutch conversions demand a master cylinder that delivers consistent, repeatable pedal feel under all conditions. The Tilton 74-Series with 7/8" bore provides the fluid displacement characteristics suited for clutch applications, offering enough volume to fully actuate most internal and external slave cylinders while maintaining precise modulation at the pedal.
The aluminum-alloy body is black anodized for corrosion resistance, and the dual -3AN outlet ports (3/8"-24 thread) eliminate adapter hassles when running braided stainless lines. A bleed screw comes installed in the top port, simplifying the bleeding process. The 2.25" center-to-center flange mounting pattern bolts directly to Tilton 600-Series and 800-Series (clutch only) pedal assemblies and balance bars without custom brackets or fabrication.
The remote reservoir configuration included with this kit positions the fluid supply away from engine heat, helping maintain consistent viscosity and reducing vapor lock risk in high-temp environments.
