Swapping a TREMEC TKX into your classic Mustang delivers modern shifting performance and 600 lb-ft torque capacity, but getting the shifter in the right spot can be a challenge. The Qwik Stik solves that problem with a precision-machined assembly that positions your shift lever exactly where Ford originally intended it to be in '65-'73 Mustangs.
The engineering starts with billet aluminum plates that mount directly to the TKX transmission case, eliminating guesswork and shimming. The 1" or 1.5" backward offset brings the shifter stub into the factory console location, maintaining proper ergonomics without hacking up your tunnel or console. Belleville washers provide the detent feel that makes 2-3 shifts crisp and confident under aggressive driving. Unlike designs that rely on internal stops, this stopless configuration simplifies maintenance when servicing is required.
The 7/8 in. on-center mounting pattern on the shifter stub accepts most aftermarket shift levers, so you can run the lever and knob that fits your build.
